An evening of celebration, appreciation, and Spring ISD pride. 💙✨ The 2026 Employee Recognition Celebration honored the incredible educators and staff members who dedicate their time, passion, and talent to serving Spring ISD students every day. From years of service milestones to campus recognitions, the night highlighted the people who help make our district exceptional. ❤️ As Spring ISD celebrates 90 years, the event served as a reminder that the district’s greatest strength has always been its people — the teachers, leaders, and staff who continue to leave a lasting impact on generations of students. The celebration also recognized this year’s Teachers of the Year, including district winner Gregory Sever, who received a brand-new car courtesy of Planet Ford. 🚗🎉 Teacher of the Year finalist Hannah Greer was also honored for her outstanding dedication to students and awarded a $2,500 Visa gift card. Congratulations to every employee recognized throughout the evening. Your dedication continues to shape the future of Spring ISD and inspire excellence across our schools. 🍎

Innovation was on full display at this year’s Spring ISD Robotics Competition Showcase! 🤖⚡ Six incredible teams from across the district — Clark Elementary School, Heritage Elementary School, Pat Reynolds Elementary School, Thompson Elementary School, Claughton Middle School, and Dekaney High School — came together for an exciting day of robot battles, engineering challenges, and teamwork. 💙✨ Families and supporters filled the room as students showcased their creativity, problem-solving skills, and passion for robotics. An evening dedicated to celebrating student achievement, opportunity, and the power of Career and Technical Education. 💙✨ At this year’s CTE Advisory Board Scholarship Dinner, Spring ISD awarded 20 scholarships totaling $20,000 to outstanding students preparing to take the next step toward their future careers and education goals. This year’s theme, Pathways to Purpose: Bridging Education, Certification, and Career Through CTE, highlighted the incredible impact CTE programs continue to have on students across the district. 🎓 The evening also included teacher innovation grants that will support robotics, environmental and agriculture studies, and health science programs across Spring ISD campuses — continuing to create hands-on learning opportunities for students. This year’s scholarship recipients represented a wide range of career pathways including engineering, culinary arts, criminal justice, education, nursing, media technology, agribusiness, psychology, and more. Among the recipients were two exceptional student leaders — the valedictorians of Westfield High School and Carl Wunsche Sr. High School — making this year’s class especially memorable. 🌟 The event also featured a keynote speaker who is a proud Spring ISD alumna and former CTE student, showcasing the lasting impact these programs have on students long after graduation. ❤️ Spring ISD is proud to celebrate the hard work, talent, and bright futures of these students as they continue turning their passions into purpose.
