Springfield School District recently received a donation from Giant through its “Feeding School Kids” program.

Our 7th grade ETR students dove deep into ocean science! Through hands-on modeling, they explored how differences in water density—driven by salinity and temperature—power movement of deep ocean currents. Incredible work connecting science concepts to real-world ocean systems!

ETR's Student Alliance Club hosted the annual Cultural Night on April 9th. Over 200 people attended, with food, fashion, languages, and crafts rom around the world, including hip hop dance and traditional Indian dance performances! Thank you to Mrs. Mancini for her efforts.

Great day at the Courthouse for the ETR students, learning about criminal and civil court proceedings, estate law, and roles within the legal system. The DC Court System operates on a $53 M annual budget, with judges handling 80–100 cases each day.

Springfield Science Olympiad is having an outstanding season. Our Cougars earned 1st place overall at the UMBC Invitational, placed 7th at Regionals, and qualified for the Penn State Altoona State Tournament. Good Luck in States!! #PrideInAllThings
