Am I the Asshole for getting my friend’s 5 kids taken away by the state? So boom, she asked me to watch her kids, (7,8,5,4, and 8 months) I told ok but I have to leave at a certain time because I had business to take care of in Manhattan and since I wasn’t driving I had to wake up early to catch the train. She said she’s only going up the road to smoke and she’ll be back. 4 hours pass and she isn’t back. I call her, she’s apologizing because homeboy took her to his house in Mastic (52 miles away) and he’s too tired to take her home at this time of the night. I angrily take the L and took a nap. It’s the next morning , 11:00am, I missed my appointment, SHE WASN’T BACK, I called her she said he said he’ll bring her back later in the night! So long story short I told her to get to her house within the hour or I’m calling CPS. I made the call at 2:30pm. They came got the kids and I took my ass home and I blocked her. It took her 10 months to get back her kids.
