The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu @SenRemiTinubu , was conferred with the traditional title Soniyako Nupe by the Etsu Nupe, Dr Yahaya Abubakar, in Bida, Niger State, on Saturday, 2nd May 2026. The honour reflects recognition of her contributions to national development, unity, and humanitarian service. The ceremony was witnessed by dignitaries including Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, his deputy Yakubu Garba, and the Wife of the Governor, Hajia Fatima Bago, alongside other traditional leaders.
