Wrapped up the day at the Right to Trade Dialogue in Mangaung with a live interview on SABC News, highlighting Section 22 of the Constitution and the importance of protecting the right of all South Africans to trade, work, and participate in the economy. #DSBDatWork

We began the Right to Trade Dialogue with a media engagement in Bloemfontein. The discussion highlighted the importance of Section 22 of the Constitution, which guarantees every citizen the right to choose their trade, occupation, or profession freely. #DSBDatWork

This practical support empowers small businesses, strengthens livelihoods, and stimulates local economic activity, creating a positive impact across the district and contributing to inclusive growth.

As part of Lejweleputswa District Economic Transformation, we handed over tools and equipment to 165 informal traders in Nala and Matjhabeng, with a total investment of R3 085 653,00. #DSBDatWork

This is a call to action for all of us, government, municipalities, the private sector, and communities to work together for inclusive and sustainable economic transformation in Lejweleputswa.
