The original Bitcoin code had a poker game hidden inside it The first version of Bitcoin contained a class called CPokerLobbyDialogBase It had framework code for an on chain poker game This poker code was added on April 16, 2008, months before the whitepaper was even published It wasn't fully removed until Bitcoin version 0.8.2 The code is still visible today on GitHub in the original Bitcoin v0.1 source code, lines 1573 to 1731 But nobody knows why Satoshi built a poker game inside BTC
