At today’s Commencement Ceremony, we officially welcomed incoming STUdents to the STU community. Each new STUdent received a T-pin—a symbol of the university’s 115 years of excellence and achievement in higher education and the many successes of STU alumni around the world. (1/2)

After a strong preliminary round where they faced students from BRAC University, Kenyatta University, Strathmore University, and Universidad National de Columbia, the pair advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to University of Santo Tomas. (2/3)

The Communications and Public Policy graduate was a goalkeeper for the Men's Soccer team during his time at STU. As a result of his academic and athletic success, he was awarded a full scholarship to pursue his graduate studies. Congratulations, Luke! 3/3

Class of 2025: What's Next 💚🎓💛 Luke Ewen, BA'25, is heading to Wilfrid Laurier University this fall to pursue a Master of Arts in Communication Studies and continue his journey as a student-athlete playing soccer for the Golden Hawks. 1/3

Class of 2025: What's Next 💚🎓💛 Charley Goldrich, BSW'25, has started her Social Work career as a counsellor for Horizon Health Network in Port Elgin, NB, where she works with individuals and groups. 1/2

"During this research process, Dr. Dawson let me spread my wings," said Coulton. This fall, Coulton will begin their master's in history at the University of Toronto, funded by a prestigious SSHRC Canadian Graduate Research Scholarship. 2/3

Undergraduate research opportunities have opened doors for Em Coulton, BA’25. The History honours grad has been working with Dr. Michael Dawson and the pair recently travelled to the Canadian Historical Association's annual conference, where they presented their research. 1/3

Students had the opportunity to experience our campus and participate in engaging workshops and lectures throughout the month-long event, boosting their analytical thinking and allowing them to develop leadership skills through the exploration of solutions to social issues. 2/3

We were thrilled to host 61 students in grades 10 and 11 from across Canada for the Shad A+ Program at STU—the first Shad program in the country to combine elements of STEAM and Entrepreneurship education with enhanced offerings in the social sciences and humanities. 1/3
