As a small and changing team, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to reduce our weekday opening hours to tours-only. On Wednesdays and Fridays, Sutton House will only be open for tours at 11am and 2pm.

Unfortunately, Sutton House cannot open on Sunday 27th August, and this means both of our guided tours have been cancelled today. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, and hope to welcome you on another occasion. Please check here for any updates throughout the day

To explore at your own pace, join us on Sundays from 11am until 4.30pm, or book to join a Sunday tour at 2pm or 3.30pm. We recommend booking tours in advance but there are a few walk-up tickets available, first-come first-served.

Sutton House and Breaker's Yard are closed on 5th and 6th April for some works. We will reopen on 11am on 7th April, for the Easter weekend. Join us for self-led exploring and our family Easter trail.

Back with some floorboard finds at @SuttonHouseNT today. Though I’ve seen these items before, I got to spend more time with them. I glimpsed a tiny repair on a slipper and “Miss Bulmer” on a back of an unfinished embroidery. I love learning about what stories these objects tell!
