And to the point where he says data is cheap. This is the same Sam George who was with us in opposition when we were pushing for the return of the MTN Zone bundle, 5GHC for 5GB. Now that he is in power and has the chance to help bring those affordable bundles back, he is telling us that 5GB for 72GHC is cheap. Literally spitting in our faces on a live Space.

That’s why the debates online are funny. None of my friends care. Those who want to go through the stress of changing it do it willingly. Others might go by the new name informally but leave their name for documents. The rest generally don’t bother at all.

👨🏾🍳🇬🇭: @NITAGhana, I think the Minister missed my point about ‘discovering’ the bill. I’m not referring to the first draft or stakeholder engagement window or the 2025 extensions.
My point is simple: if the draft currently on the website is NOT the final version after stakeholder engagement, as he now claims, then fair; we’ll wait for the final draft.
But naturally, the public assumed the version still hosted online was the final post-engagement draft because neither your recent press release nor the Minister’s earlier comments suggested otherwise.
That distinction matters.

I have always reiterated that personally and officially, I am always open to informed and constructive criticism and opinions. Criticisms that jump on bandwagon trends and fail to be based on fact are treated with contempt because they are not only mischievous but intended to misinform. To all the 'IT Professionals' who all of a sudden are making all manner of spurious claims that the @MoCDTI through its Agency - @NITAGhana - is acting illegally, please read the National Information Technology Agency Act, 2008 (Act 771), Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481) and the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendments) Regulations 2025 (L.I. 2512). The Ministry is simply ENFORCING existing legislation that has been on our books since 2008, 2023 and 2025. The proposed new legislation has NOT even been laid before Parliament. I welcome anyone to point out which specific action of the Agency is NOT backed by a provision under the stated legislation. We have a Country to build, and we will ensure enforcement and sanity in our Technology space. Cheers.

A ministry that quickly removed a pricing page from their website and started editing things around now wants to convince us that the information currently on the website has always been there and is exactly the same as what is in the bill. The Boys was great when the Supes had their strengths and weaknesses.
A-Train had super speed but a dodgy heart.
Translucent's skin was bulletproof but his insides weren't.
Sage was the smartest person in the world but she longed to just zone out to trash TV and had to lobotomise herself to do so.
The Deep was master of the ocean but on land, his gills were a weakness point... and his stupidity.
This meant The Boys could have a plan to stop them, or a convenient way to have the Supe out of action, without just rewriting powers to suit the plot.
