@stanmarion @DanBochman I believe this is only they are using your TM in copy, rather than bidding on the keyword. Exception for countries like Denmark i believe who cover keywords also.

@DanBochman well you do have to file the complaint for each ad, and I’m sure the people managing the Google Ads budget prefer to burn it than pester legal teams to file complaints…

Recently, many FASHN AI competitors, big and small, started running Google search ads on our brand keywords.
I tried reaching out to the CEOs of those companies one by one, saying something like this:
“Hey, I saw that you started bidding on our brand name on Google. I would appreciate it if you would stop. Otherwise, we will have to outbid you and then also bid on your brand, and we’ll both lose. The market is big enough for everybody. It doesn’t have to be like this.”
Nobody answered.
This kind of bidding war doesn’t create value. It just shifts margins from startups to Google, while everyone pretends it’s a growth strategy 🤷♂️
