@nielsonTSN1260 Cossa wants out of Detroit as it's now clear that Augustine is the goalie of the future. Cossa's camp has communicated to the Wings that he'd appreciate an opportunity elsewhere. Howard is a great prospect.

Why would the Wings trade Cossa for Ike Howard?

Peter Laviolette is a Stanley Cup champion coach (sorry), has taken teams to the SCF on 3 occasions & has won over 800 games. Most recently, he won 55 games with in 2023 and is the HC at the 2026 World Championships. In 2014 & 2020, Bowman helped select PL to coach team USA (WC).

Would've enjoyed if one of the local media types had asked Bowman if he'd consider turning his phone off on July 1st.......

If I'm Bowman, I'm moving Jarry to whomever will take him and yes, I'm adding assets to incentivize a trade. Then I'm calling Bill Guerin about Filip Gustavsson (full NMC), who has a $6.8M extension kick in next year.

Refs miss the OBVIOUS pick play by Tampa and then they score to win in OT. NHL reffing is a joke.

@zach_20007 The league has a serious issue with poor officiating but refuses to acknowledge or rectify it.

@thackattack41 He was going to go into the goalie no matter. If cirelli didn’t touch demidov and just stays there.The reffing was bad both ways. The refs missed a brutal high stick on point earlier.

3+ minutes to go in a tied Game 6 and Tampa is handed a PP after Demidov is hooked/tripped into Vasilevskiy & called for goalie interference. This league is so rigged it's not even funny anymore.

@thackattack41 The refs didn’t call a high stick a few mins earlier that would have been a 4 for Tampa - was probably a make up call for that more than anything

@zach_20007 The actions of Cirelli appeared to direct Demidov into the goalie.

@thackattack41 He is was not hooked the contract was very soft. And Demidov went flying into the goalie you have to call it imo.

Officials were doing a pretty good job tonight...until that absolutely abysmal goaltender interference call on Ivan Demidov.

Cossa is the type of goalie you go after. Cheap and young. Upside. Big ticket goalies who lost the starters job is not the way to go again.
