Startups are hard When you actively angel invest, you get regular reminders of this. even when you have great team, investors and time, doesn't always work out I've gotten 3 M&A updates in last weeks from teams that really tried their best but didn't quite take off I can hear the founder's disappointment in the tone of the email, my heart breaks a little reading it But my reaction is CONGRATS on landing the plane and the journey of building. Soft landings are hard to find. I really respect founders who find a way. Be proud of the team's work, the tenacity and learnings from this experience. Rest, recover and try again. No regrets.
