Mari Kniezewski, a clinical research coordinator at @DanaFarber, made it her mission to give back through volunteering at Jimmy Fund events in 2025, including the Jimmy Fund Walk for Dana-Farber, the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon, Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl, and more.

Each year, the tournament selects a different cancer type and donates their proceeds to the respective research department at Dana-Farber. “As I retire this year, I’m excited to have more time to spend planning future Rybacki Memorial Invitational tournaments and staying connected with our participants. This event is a cherished family tradition, and I look forward to seeing my kids carry it on in the future,” says Larry.

Larry Rybacki knew he wanted to do something positive and impactful in his father’s memory after he passed away in 1993. Larry quickly teamed up with Jimmy Fund Golf presented by @MoheganSun to establish the Rybacki Memorial Invitational Golf Tournament, which has now been raising critical funds for cancer research at @DanaFarber for 33 years!
