Doug Ford continues to ram through Highway 413 by avoiding a real environmental assessment. Think of the floods this summer. 413 will make flooding worse, and it is dangerous to build this highway without any thought on how it will affect flooding. I hope the federal government will step up and do a proper EA before Ford paves over the critical ecosystems that protect our homes from flooding. Or better yet: let's just cancel the project and spend the money on transit, housing and healthcare. #onpoli

@MayorOliviaChow Driving down Bloor has been a nightmare since the bike lanes were added. Traffic is awful, and it’s only going to get worse when it snows.

While now the province today has said they’ll rip out existing cycling infrastructure… I’ll say it again: I do not support limiting city powers. Let’s not go backwards. It’s always better when we work together. Ripping up our roads will make congestion worse. Meanwhile, the province’s failure to deliver transit projects on time has led to long construction delays and years of road closures that have made it harder to get around our city. The province should be focused on finally opening the Eglinton Crosstown and Finch West LRTs and fixing the chaos at Metrolinx.
