We are absolutely thrilled that The Dining Room has retained its Michelin star! This fantastic achievement is a testament to the brilliance that the whole team create on a daily basis. We very much look forward to welcoming our guests to The Dining Room over the coming year.

Every English garden would like an Aussie Alex - hands off, he’s ours! Alex has his work cut out repairing the fall-out from the summer of fun but he’s putting a brave face on. Autumn colours are now bursting out, with flaming acers & radiant red & orange vines starting to turn.

Many congratulations to our Pastry Chef Chris Seddon: leading Team UK to 4th place in the World Cup of Patisserie in Lyon, the highest place ever for a British team. The intricacy of the design was astonishing; we’re proud of you, Chris and team!

Aprons at the ready… the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie, the World Cup of pastry, takes place this weekend in Lyon. UK team captain is our own pastry star, Chris Seddon. Chris & the team will be up against the very best talent in a bid to bring the title home. Bonne chance!

Negroni Week 2021 is taking place this week & with Seven Hillls Gin, The Goring Cocktail Bar is celebrating with The Negroni Italiano (Grandpa Goring’s favourite) & the Garden Negroni (a freshened up take on the classic). Each one utterly delicious. Do pop by & try them!
