The @SANDF_ZA refusal to provide previously classified apartheid era documents - that are 40 to 45 years old (and were apparently declassified by the apartheid SADF) - is outrageous & baffling. What security risk could the apartheid government military strategy pose today? The documents should be in the Apartheid Museum - telling the untold stories - not locked in a safe. Firstly, corporate South Africa doesn’t take Bafana Bafana seriously. During a World Cup season that only comes every 4 years, Sandton is still full of formal wear… no Bafana shirts, no scarves, no regalia. Nothing💔 I played rugby, went to a proper rugby school, and we never even watched soccer🥲. Yet during rugby tournaments, schools we put up big screens literally everywhere and had our T shirts as and when we wanted😭😂 Please, let’s take Bafana seriously. Every Friday, companies should push people to wear Bafana Bafana jerseys and rally behind the country🙏

Nobody tells you how hard it is to rewire your brain so you can allow amazing things to happen to you after so much trauma or hurt. Blessings exist, good people exist, a softer life exists. Let it happen.
