Our team have been busy mulching across the parks! This process involves spreading woodchip on the soil to provide a protective layer. This helps retain moisture as well as suppressing weeds to help plants and trees thrive 🌳

Wildflowers at Walton Lake 🌻 We recently re-planted the bird refuge areas at Walton Lake with wildflowers that have seeds which will provide food for birds as winter approaches 🐦 We also used a bee and butterfly seed mix to give pollinators a helping hand during summer 🐝
