A pitching day for the record book.
Following Aiden White’s record-setting 14 strikeouts in game one, Brayden Gurney tallied 16 strikeouts in an eight-inning stint during game two against the Bulldogs to rewrite the record before the ink dried.
At the plate, Axel Chasak hit a two-run homer and Gabe Compton hit a three-run home run in in the fifth inning. Jatniel McCloud, Jaykenn Marrero, and Brooks Carter scratched out two hits apiece.
