From monthly reporting to forecasting and explaining numbers: 1. Excel formulas "I'm working in Excel with two sheets: one has sales order & order amount, the other has sales orders with customer names & dates. Build a CFO-style monthly review deck "I'm a CFO preparing our monthly review presentation. Write the commentaries like a seasoned CFO" 3. Python for sales analysis "My data is in an Excel File called "Sales 2025". I am using Google Colab. Do this analysis like an experienced CFO in our industry" 6. Pricing scenarios "I'm in FP&A. In Jan, we sold $183k of equipment (8,451 units). I need help modeling 2 pricing scenarios: a 5% increase and a 5% decrease, using a demand elasticity of -1.3. Show new price, quantity, and sales. Show me your calculations and present the result in a table format. Act as the best modeler" 7. Budget instructions "I am the finance manager. I need to draft the instructions for this year's budget. Ask me for information you need before starting and I will provide them" 8. Action plan for management "I'm an FP&A analyst. Sales came in 15% below budget due to supply chain delays. Can you draft a bullet-point action plan I can present to management to help us close the gap? Make it solution-oriented, measurable, & structured like a proactive finance business partner" 9. GAAP financial statement note "I'm preparing financial statements under US GAAP. Can you draft a note for property, plant, and equipment with a table by category showing cost, depreciation, and net value? Also include useful lives by category. Use a clear, compliant format like a Big 4 partner would" ♻️ Repost this if you learned something new Image credit: Nicolas Boucher

There are 5 levels to mastering Claude. Most people stop at level 2. 1. The AI Beginner → You use Claude like a fancier Google. You ask one-off questions, maybe write a quick email, generate images, and that’s it. 2. The Prompt Crafter → You know the basic prompt formula: instruction, context, constraints, example. You also know other prompting techniques to get better responses 3. The AI Literate → You know core AI concepts: hallucinations, context windows, sycophancy, bias, etc. You use AI as a sparring partner that helps you think. 4. The Workflow Builder → You design workflows for tasks you repeat. You build Claude skills and set up projects to keep context, prompts, and reference files in one place so you never start from scratch. 5. The System Builder → You build systems that run while you sleep. You use Cowork or Claude Code to automate end-to-end so you wake up to drafts and finished work ready to ship. What level are you in? ♻️ Share this if you learned something new

Anthropic revealed the anatomy of the perfect Claude prompt Your Claude outputs will never look the same after this: (taken from Anthropic’s Prompting 101) 1. Task context: Tells the model who it is and what it's supposed to do. 2. Tone context: Sets the style or personality of the response. 3. Background data, documents, and images: Provides the reference material the model should use to answer. 4. Detailed task description & rules: Spells out specific constraints and behaviors the model must follow. 5. Examples: Shows the model exactly what a good response looks like. 6. Conversation history: Gives the model the prior back-and-forth so it has context. 7. Immediate task description or request: The actual question or task the user is asking right now. 8. Thinking step by step / take a deep breath: Tells the model to reason carefully before answering. 9. Output formatting: Specifies the structure or format you want the answer in. 10. Prefilled response (if any): Starts the model's reply with a specific opening to steer the output.
