Today I resigned from my position at the U.S. Department of Justice. I returned to Washington to fully expose the abuses by the FBI and DOJ against J6 defendants, but it became clear that this will only happen from outside of government. So I left and will do so.

I believe that promoting Harmeet Dhillon within the Department of Justice would be a disaster for J6 defendants and would diminish any hope of holding accountable those responsible for the abusive investigations and prosecutions. She has taken the establishment view of J6 from the very beginning as evidenced by her January 6, 2021 Twitter post where she wrote “This scene at the US Capitol is shocking and disgraceful. The mob violence the left has habitually engaged in these past years is despicable, but in no way excuses these crimes” and her January 7, 2021 interview on Fox News where she stated that “every single criminal who destroyed property and trespassed and threatened our legislators doing their sacred duty should be punished for that”. Early in my J6 nightmare, I spoke with Harmeet and asked for help from her civil rights organization. She declined and told me that as J6 defendants we were “on your own”. It was clear that even long after the event she had little concern about the abuses being inflicted on those being targeted. As Assistant Attorney General of the Civil Rights Division for more than a year, she has done little if anything to investigate or expose the abuses J6 defendants suffered at the hands of the Biden administration, nor to hold those within the FBI or DOJ accountable. When J6 defendants and their supporters demanded in late December, 2025 that DOJ take action before the statute of limitations expired on the five-year anniversary of J6, she repeatedly mocked and attacked them on X, including calling them “hoes”. She then implied that DOJ was addressing J6 issues by posting on X that “Trump/Bondi DOJ is working to bring to justice those who weaponized January 6th, 2021. No statute of limitations will hinder DOJ's efforts to bring justice to those who weaponized persecution of American citizens. January 6th 2026 is NOT a deadline for DOJ to bring prosecutions.” I believe that she and the Civil Rights Division have made no such efforts and remain unconcerned about J6. We have a limited amount of time to reveal the J6 abuses and need Department of Justice leadership that understands J6 defendants have been mistreated like few citizens in United States history. We need leaders determined to hold those responsible accountable to ensure it never happens again.

SCOOP: President Donald Trump plans to nominate @HarmeetKDhillon to be DOJ’s Associate Attorney General this week, @realDailyWire has learned. Source familiar also says Stanley Woodward, who previously held the position, resigned earlier on Saturday.

@co3blue @HBrodude I want an AG that doesn't use the incredible powers of the Department of Justice to improperly abuse and torment their political opponents. Someone who has experienced persecution is less likely to do so.

@HBrodude @TheWiseJared Not sure why that is important in an AG, but you do you. I prefer one that will be independent and prosecute crimes.

The next United States Attorney General needs to be someone who has personally experienced the oppression and tyranny of our own government. It needs to be a person who instinctively understands the pain of being targeted and can’t forget it, not someone who has to contemplate or wonder what it’s like.

As many J6 defendants as possible need to file lawsuits against the U.S. Capitol Police, DC Metropolitan Police, FBI and DOJ. The first lawsuit that makes it to discovery will open the floodgates for the truth. The government fears this.

🚨BREAKING — Dozens of Jan. 6 defendants and others present on Capitol grounds have filed a class action in Florida against DC + Capitol police for excessive use of force during the riot.

FinCEN, TSC, IRS, TSA, and more. It was a “whole of government” approach to destroy J6 defendants in any way possible. The corrupt agencies and partisan bureaucrats didn’t even need instruction - they all just instinctively knew on their own to use any power or tool at their disposal to destroy J6 defendants.

The fact that a single J6 trial was allowed to take place in DC - where Trump got 5.40% of the vote in 2020 and 6.47% of the vote in 2024 - is a disgrace to our alleged justice system. No honest DOJ prosecutor could have believed J6 defendants had any hope of a fair trial in that environment, but they weren’t concerned about that. They were happy about the odds in their favor. Shame on the judges for denying every single J6 Change of Venue motion submitted - including mine.

🧵DC JURY POOL THREAD: DC students can't read. But they can convict. DC spends more per student than anywhere in America, $31,629/year. Most kids can't read at grade level. But DCPS found the time to make progressive activist training mandatory for every student, grades 6-12. Those students become DC jurors. Full receipts below. As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇

Done! Waiting on the judges ruling for our Westfall Certification! Once we clear that…the door is open! I implore J6ers to file suit and file them outside of DC immediately!

That’s actually a fair point. But first - tough guy? Thank you, but I’m just a regular American (never convicted of any crimes and therefore never pardoned - you should retract that false and defamatory statement) who went to a lawful political rally and was then unlawfully attacked by police for nearly an hour while standing deep in a peaceful crowd on the West Plaza. Myself and those near me had no idea we had entered some magical, virtual “restricted” area (the fences were removed more than 30 minutes before I arrived), nor were we aware of any skirmishes at the police line far in front of us, yet were hit with 40+ “Stinger Ball Grenades” and numerous gas munitions in an abuse of peaceful political protestors that would make North Korea proud. Police began attacking the crowd with rubber bullets, grenades and gas munitions at 1:07 pm but gave no dispersal order (which few people heard anyway as it was comically done with a hand-held speaker well behind the police lines - I never heard it) until 2:03 pm. For more than an hour, police improperly attacked peaceful people who were just standing deep in the crowd, unaware of any problems far away from them. We were shocked that this was happening in the United States. Later I witnessed police beating non-violent people with numerous overhead baton strikes to their heads, which is clearly an illegal use of deadly force. As a former law enforcement officer trained in the use of batons, it sickened and angered me to watch such horrific police brutality in person for the first time in my life. The extensive, improper police violence on J6 is easy to prove - and I will do so in the coming months - but you and your fraudulent “J6 Committee” somehow never managed to cover any of it. It is impossible that you’re not aware, yet I don’t believe you’ve ever acknowledged it personally. It’s not discussed in your phony J6 report nor was it ever mentioned in your fake hearings. As illogical as it may seem to you, it is true that I will be much more effective from the outside in exposing the truth about J6 - although it was a tough decision to leave because in a perfect world, I could obviously be much more effective inside of DOJ. I’ll explain in detail in the coming months why that is true. Myself and others will now begin to demonstrate so clearly the truth about horrific police actions that day, and reveal details of the corrupt FBI investigations and political DOJ prosecutions that followed. Prepare for the truth about J6 - that you’ve worked so hard to conceal - to be revealed to the country.

Notice how all of these tough-guy podcasters and pundits (and pardoned felons) find it much easier to make up conspiracy theories from “the outside” than it is to actually have to prove a case with evidence and laws from “the inside” of the DOJ? Cc @dbongino @Kash_Patel

Thank you, Trisha. We have just a few months to reveal the truth about J6 before the midterms. The country needs to know what really happened that day and what was done to J6 defendants and their families by the corrupt FBI and DOJ. Unfortunately, until something changes inside the DOJ and FBI, the only way for this to happen is for the people to push from outside.

Jared Wise is a January 6th defendant, a former FBI agent, whistleblower, and former Project Veritas reporter. Most recently, he joined the Department of Justice under Ed Martin with the sincere hope of finally uncovering the truth about what happened on January 6th. Jared first reached out to me in October 2024 to thank me for my J6 work. I believed wholeheartedly in his commitment to finding the truth. Unfortunately, it became clear that the Department of Justice has no real interest in a genuine investigation. Yesterday, Jared Wise resigned. In his statement, he wrote: "Today I resigned from my position at the U.S. Department of Justice. I returned to Washington to fully expose the abuses by the FBI and DOJ against J6 defendants, but it became clear that this will only happen from outside of government. So, I left and will do so." Also yesterday, fellow J6er and former BlazeTV reporter Steve Baker announced he had been fired from The Blaze for his relentless investigative work on the January 5th pipe-bomber case. Steve has poured countless hours into this investigation, conducting gait analysis, foot and shoe size comparisons, and continuing to gather new evidence daily alongside his investigative partner, Joe Hanneman. Through court filings, they obtained information showing that Capitol Police Officer Shauni Kerkhoff failed a polygraph test when asked if she placed the pipe bombs on January 5th. Officer Kerrhoff is also the individual who fired rubber bullets into a peaceful crowd on January 6th. Glenn Beck and BlazeTV terminated Steve because he refused to stop telling the truth. He was then scheduled to appear on Megyn Kelly’s show this past Wednesday, but the interview was abruptly cancelled. Megyn’s team said they would tape it but would not air it. The coordinated pressure to silence this story should concern every American. Steve and Joe plan to make additional announcements on Monday. I urge you to learn about their important work and stand with them. These men are facing real danger simply because they refuse to stop telling the American people the truth. I ask you to please put your pom pom's down for a minute and ask REAL QUESTIONS and demand REAL ANSWERS. WHY IS TRUMP'S DOJ STOPPING THE TRUTH ABOUT J5 AND J6 FROM COMING OUT??

If you have been part of the problem,, I’m glad you have left. The country is tired of the coverups. Complicit legal staff has created an unjust system. It’s difficult to understand why people accept how our country has been run in the past. Has true integrity really lost its way?
