Yesterday was my first day having clients back in the room… It felt strange, somehow like my first day again!! But it was also lovely. I’d not realised how lonely consulting was on our own! #vetsoftwitter (photo of milly because ❤️)

1/3 Skipping but NO patella luxation?? Marcel, 2yo Min Schnauzer had intermittent skipping the left HL, but NO patella luxation on exam/under sedation and NO X-ray changes. Paroxysmal Exercise Induced Diskinesia is likely diagnosis. Thanks @marklowrie for advice.

@RossAllanVet @marklowrie @TheBVOA @MortonM @m_ben_w I have a similar case to this, but whilst orthopaedic exam is normal there is marked muscle wastage on the affected limb. Does that tend to be a feature? I was sure it was going to be patellas but they are firmly in place!

@Thisvetruns Fantastic! I too am not long after having a baby, any tips on how to fit in runs? The time just flies by!

I didn’t feel like running today, so I said just 30 minutes easy. When I hit that it felt so good to be out in the cold air by myself I just carried on… I can’t even contemplate when I last ran for an hour. Or when running (whatever the pace) felt easy ❤️ #postpartumrecovery

@ToweyEmily If you have a partner, then chat to them about how you can plan together to make one/two runs happen a week. I get Fia settled asleep for her nap and give Tom the monitor and off I go! It’s kind of crazy how little time running from your door takes - but how hard it can be to do

@ravbillan I hope so!! I’ve had some false starts… but this was run no. 4 of 2022 and I’m really determined to make this the final come back 🙈

Why is it always so nerve-wracking when your own little one needs to go into the hospital.. Bea's in for her cardiology referral tomorrow, my tutors even offered to pop and give her cuddles and chat through any outcome, but still so nervous for her results
