Abnormal is when every one pretends Covid is over when it is far from being over. You reek of ableism. And heaven forbid you actually follow mitigation practices. The nerve of protecting others. That’s cool. Im gonna still wear my masks and trigger the shit out of all of you.

People vehemently believe that there are safety nets in place if you become disabled. That no matter what, you have all of your needs met. If you believe this, you’re in for a rude awakening if you ever become disabled.

I want everybody who considers themselves liberal or left leaning and now ignores COVID to apologize to at least one person who was hostile towards COVID mitigations in 2020. Not because they were right, but because it turns out you're the same.

Reminder: Mask bans give police the power to do even more racial profiling.

If you’re going to attend a crowded indoor event when Covid is surging across the country - wear a mask. If you can’t mask AT the event…wear a mask after. Wear it when you travel home & interact with others. Isolate if possible. This is how we break chains of transmission.

“Getting Covid was worth it!” I was disabled by my 2020 Covid infection, mostly bed-bound for two years, then I was reinfected in 2022. My driver’s license expired “during the pandemic,” & NYS made me take a class & a road test. I failed the road test due to my Covid-affected vision & depth perception, & “wide right turns.” I have been driving for almost 30 years. It has been 10 years since I’ve been pulled over & 15 years since I’ve had an accident. It’s just one of many complications that *greatly* impact my daily life. The State of NY may not give me my driver’s license back. I am in my early 40s. My old life is long gone, and it is never coming back. EVERYTHING has changed. The public has been TERRIBLY misled, and it’s extremely tragic. It’s not “worth it.”

What do you think the odds are that the woman who said that the DNC wasn't a superspreader caught Covid at the DNC?

I feel like this has been the most exhausting covid wave yet in terms of ignorance and gaslighting and denialism. Is anyone else feeling that way?

You think masking at the grocery store or the airport is hard? Try doing it 24 hours a day in your own home (ok 23 counting outside breaks) to keep your viral loads low and your dogs safe. I’m running on fumes and just so angry at the world and how badly we’ve been failed.

I’m not surprised folk in this country demands to see dead children/babies. This is the nation that popularized postcards of Black people being lynched, who leave dead Black bodies in the streets for hours, and who demand to see what happened *before the police shot someone.
