We can confirm that Guglielmo Vicario will undergo surgery next week on a hernia. The minor procedure for the Italy international goalkeeper has been timed to have as minimal impact on our season as possible. Guglielmo will commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately, and it is hoped that he could return to action within the next month.

While FIFA intent is a great way to power women in the sport that has many gate keepers that side line women, this is also a very thought provoking point. 🤔 But in the end, I would rather try to figure it out as I go along with these new rule.

@fifamedia This will create unnecessary gap between countries that have already developed women's football league and the rest of the world where the development just begun. Really think this is not a good idea at the moment. How many counties can afford to have female coach or assistant?

@lisa03865019 This also definitely is illegal in europe. It is discrimination to limit a job (with some obvious exceptions) to one sex. FIFA can say this but it wont affect anything, teams wont want to be sued.

I’m unsure. I do think there should be a push for more female coaches in general (whether there needs to be more funding etc. idk), but I still think it should be the best person for the job - and I do think that that will often still be men due to levels of experience

This dumbass needs to back the fuck aways from the WSL. You have zero idea about anything you are talking about. The NWSL is a shit quality league. Its not good. Its actually unwatchable because the quality is so low. Its like watching amateur football.

Alyssa Thompson is playing with better players but also once you get past the big 4 teams in the WSL the defending is crap compared to the NWSL. NWSL is the most competitive league in the world for a reason
