The TNRD is providing notice of a public meeting being held in #Savona on Nov. 10 to provide an update on the CPKC train derailment and cleanup. Updates will be given by CPKC, Ministry of Environment, Environment Canada, and Interior Health. More info: tnrd.ca/notice-public-…

An Evacuation Alert issued for properties along Fadear Creek due to risks associated with the Fadear Lake dam has now been downgraded to All Clear, effective October 10, 2025, at 3:30 pm. More information: eoc.tnrd.ca/eoc-notice/eva…

On Thursday, October 9, TNRD staff and engineers were on site of the Fadear Lake dam, and were successfully able to clear debris from blocked culverts within the dam structure. As a result, water is flowing freely through culverts downstream. Full Update: facebook.com/tnrd.ca/posts/…
