Congrats to Toledo Early College on their declaration day that was May 7th!

Our crew had an amazing time last week helping the The Salvation Army - Northwest Ohio Area Services beautify their space. The volunteer effort was part of United Way of Greater Toledo’s “Day of Caring”campaign.

Congratulations to our college access specialist, Tiobista, for earning her Master’s Degree from the The University of Toledo this past Saturday in Sociology! Way to go Tiobista, we’re so proud of you! 💙💛💙💛

Congratulations to our research analyst, Sumi, for graduating this past weekend earning her bachelor’s degree from The University of Toledo, college of natural science and mathematics! Way to go Sumi! ⭐️ 👩‍🎓 🌟 👩‍🎓 ⭐️

Chief Supply Chain Officer, Mike Koralewski, from First Solar spoke at Rotary Club of Toledo a few weeks ago. While most of us in Northwest are familiar with First Solar, their impact specifically to Northwest Ohio has been nothing short of impressive for the workforce industry.

With March coming to a close this week, we are entering the last few weeks of tax season. We wanted to share this info for those who are nearing or in their RMD (required minimum distribution) phase with their retirement accounts about the Qualified Charitable Donation option.

Library Happenings next week!

This Summer we taught a literacy program at Grace Community Center for pre-kindergarten to third graders that ran between June and July. To celebrate their accomplishments, the community center held an awards ceremony for students and staff. This was our reward.

Our team had a FUN time this morning packing snack bags for students at the United Way of Greater Toledo “Nourished to Flourish” campaign event held at Wayman D. Palmer Community YMCA. Over 2,000 bags were packed!!!

Last week Toledo Tomorrow team members Alex, Abbie, Tiobista, Mitchell & Rashadd got to help out at the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority Route 19 Job fair. Intern Alex even got to be crowned 👑 for the day thanks to one of the vendors @BurgerKing !
