Just listened to HH for the first time. It struck me deeply. Beneath the shock of the song’s lyrics lies genuine pain: losing family, facing censorship, feeling trapped. Yes, there’s a surreal absurdity to it, but not nearly as absurd as a world where tweets can unravel someone’s entire life. Ye touches on something profound here, showing how quickly society turns away from complexity and humanity when confronted by discomfort. We’re reminded how cruel society can be toward the mere expression of ideas. If you listen to HH and feel outrage rather than empathy, it might be time to look in the mirror.
