Today @foodandfunwales we made our own cheesecakes, decorated our Olympic medals, did sports outside and finished the day with some Just Dance. @HS_Caerphilly @sport_leisure

Today in @foodandfunwales we have learnt about fats in food, played sport, did some lovely arts and crafts and made overnight oats. @HS_Caerphilly @sport_leisure

Today in @foodandfunwales we were joined by New Directions to deliver sign language to our children and then lifesaving skills to the children and their families. The children then enjoyed dinner with their families @HS_Caerphilly

It was a hot one today in @foodandfunwales . We used the shaded area to build dens, we did a nutrition lesson on energy drinks and their sugar content, we made fruit art and had a mid morning snack of watermelon whilst watching the Olympics @HS_Caerphilly @sport_leisure

Today in @foodandfunwales we have made kites and flown them on the school yard, played sport on the field and made the most of some shade when going on a bug hunt. @sport_leisure @HS_Caerphilly

Today at @foodandfunwales we invited our parents to have breakfast with us before they joined our session about free sugars. Then we made cous cous and played kick rounders. @sport_leisure @HS_Caerphilly

Today in @foodandfunwales we used our cutting skills to make fruit salads, we did exercise indoors, we created posters for the Olympics and we created a healthy plate using art. @HS_Caerphilly @sport_leisure

In @foodandfunwales today, we designed healthy meals, created our own Eatwell Guide out of clay and had fun playing games and sport outside @sport_leisure @HS_Caerphilly

Today in @foodandfunwales we have met target 1 in our nutrition lessons and have all tried a new fruit or vegetable. We have played sports and designed our own water bottles to use over the next 12 days.

We are already for our art gallery! Our paintings are inspired by the recent sightings of the northern lights. We picked different local landmarks and created the northern lights over them. They look beautiful!@TrinantPrimary

Fantastic to have @rhi4islwyn with us this afternoon at @TrinantPrimary to see @_thedailymile in action and hear first-hand from pupils and staff about the benefits of bringing regular physical activity to the school day. We even managed to dodge the showers!
