Doing creative research without being a creative strategist?
A marketer's nightmare.
I've often spent hours lost in a sea of ads, trying to:
- Find trends + competitors
- Come up with ideas
- Organize it all
But I found an AI tool that does ALL of that in 50% less time:
It's called Atria.
If you're familiar with Foreplay, it's a lot like that, but it’s so much better.
Let me show you what I mean by explaining how I’ve used it with a brand I'm working with.
So this brand is in the coffee niche, and I wanted to see what creative and copy trends were popular in that industry.
One of the great things about Atria is its search function.
I'm able to search...
- Brands
- Ad copy
- Categories
...by keyword!
If I want, I can also make my search more granular with its insane filters.
It even allows you to filter by CREATIVE THEME!
But from a search, I can IMMEDIATELY spot creative and copy trends, and also competitors.
This task would have normally taken me at least an hour.
But I'm not even DONE yet.
I quickly see MUD/WTR. I remember it's a popular brand in the coffee space, so I click on it.
The next thing I see is their media mix:
Immediately, I know:
- Videos are dominating
- Statics only make up a quarter of their ads
- Carousels are almost non-existent
This is crucial info that tells me a few things:
- Video content might be more effective in this niche
- Carousels are a creative gap that could be filled to stand out
- Messaging behind statics can guide my approach to my own
I sort the creatives by the longest-running active ads to understand what the brand is pouring $$$ into.
(Usually a good indicator that it’s performing)
One of these ads was a founder ad.
Makes sense. Those usually crush (if done right).
