@CloudysDreamzs From what I understand, marcos base skins were Shadow the Hedgehog variants that were already public, he then got a new skin and the guy just had a similar head but a completely different outfit. Its not taking someones design it just has similarities like other skins

@Trypuh Ok we can disagree on the skin = branding thing but you can’t disagree with is that taking art or someone’s character design is not cool especially when you are using it to build a audience on a channel with 10k+ subscribers.

@CloudysDreamzs @araelsx A commissioned skin = commissioned art, not a brand. A skin can be part of branding, but its not a brand by itself. So it’s not really ‘stealing a brand,’ it’s just a similar design or as you worded it “ripping it off”

@Trypuh @araelsx Getting a skin commissioned is the same as getting art commissioned there’s no difference. A character is essential to having a brand that’s kinda just how it works. I don’t really think the problem is the guy using it it’s more of the fact he’s ripping off the character.
