The 7th inning of the Class 3A softball championship will resume at Shelbyville Central High School at the conclusion of the Class 1A game that is being held there. The Class 4A softball championship game will be held at Shelbyville Central when the 3A game has concluded.

The softball games at Riverdale are in a weather delay. Once the weather has passed, the field conditions will be reassessed and further information will be relayed regarding resumption of play.

The softball championship games to be held at Riverdale will now start at the following times: 12:30 (3A): Alcoa vs. McNairy Central 3PM (4A): Maryville vs. Stewart’s Creek

Due to the field conditions at Oakland, the Class 4A championship baseball game is being moved to Siegel High School and will be played at the conclusion of the 3A championship game.

The Class 1A softball championship between McEwen and Eagleville that was originailly scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday will now be played at 3pm. Full Saturday schedule: Class 2A - 12:30 p.m. at Shelbyville Class 1A - 3:00 p.m. at Shelbyville Class 3A - 10:00 a.m. at Riverdale Class 4A - 12:30 p.m. at Riverdale

Division II-AA softball championship between Baylor and Chattanooga Christian is set to resume at 5:00 p.m. at Riverdale High School

Due to impending weather and in an effort to complete the 2026 TSSAA State Baseball Championships, championship games will be moved to local host sites on Friday. All championship games are currently scheduled for an 11:00 AM start time. Division I, Class 1A - Riverdale Division I, Class 2A - MTCS Division I, Class 3A - Siegel Division I, Class 4A - Oakland

DII Baseball Update: Due to games finishing very late tonight, the following adjustments/times have been set for tomorrow at MTSU DII-A - 12:00 p.m. DII-AA - 2:30 p.m. DII-A (If Necessary) - 5:00 p.m. DII-AA (If Necessary) - 7:30 p.m. If there is only one "if game" it would be at 5:00.

Baseball UPDATE: All sites are done with or are finishing winners bracket games (12:30) and setting 8:30-9:30 to start the losers bracket final (5:00) We hope to not start a game after 9:30.

TRACK UPDATE: Stadium is open. Athletes may practice on the track now. We will start the 300 hurdles with Division II A girls at 8:15pm

ATTENTION SOFTBALL: Division I Schools: Grounds crews have begun to work on the fields and they are in pretty good shape. We would like to begin play at both McKnight and Starplex at 4:30PM. A few fields might take 15 minutes more to prepare, but we should have eight fields up and running by 4:30-4:45. Please notify your teams and start making your way towards the park! The schedule will pick up right where we left off. All games that were in progress will resume at the point of interuption. If we do get more rain and cannot complete these games tonight and we have an official game, the game will be over. In this scenario, we will revert to NFHS playing rules covering official "completed" games due to weather. Division II Schools: Games are being moved to Cedar Stone Park in Smyrna, TN. WE WILL BE READY TO GO BY 4:45PM. PLEASE LET YOUR TEAMS, PARENTS, AND COMMUNITY KNOW. We will not begin until all teams are there and ready to go.
