🗣️ Spaces for open dialogue across divisions. We are a divided country. In forums big and small, from public debates to intimate one-on-one conversations, the IOP creates spaces for us to find common ground while acknowledging our profound differences.

💼 300+ paid internships in politics and public service internships every year. The IOP funds hundreds of summer and academic-year internships with employers such as ABC News, ICIRR, the EPA, the American Enterprise Institute, the World Bank, and much more.

Audience reactions: “Robin Kelly was very precise, calm, and talked like she had the most experience. She seemed very educated on the issues in Illinois and the greater Chicago area.”

“The candidates displayed a gross misconception about the impact of AI on the workplace. While I share their frustration, I don’t lament the loss of minimum wage jobs. A student from the College asked about AI and they talked about grocery store jobs.”
