Laughed at after Patrick’s missed finger roll in 95. Lambasted in 96 because we were given a gentleman’s sweep against the 72-10 Bulls. Trolled after Pj Brown cartwheeled Charlie Ward and David Stern took away an opportunity to dethrone Chicago when NY had a 3-1 record against them in 97. Tormented with another gentleman’s sweep at the hands of the Pacers in 98 Watched as Duncan and Robinson ran roughshod over an 8th seed missing their center during the 99 finals. Yet another Indiana playoff victory in 2000 with Toronto bouncing us out in 2001. Missing the playoffs in back to back seasons in 2002/2003 only to get swept by the swamp dragons in 2004. 3 consecutive outs from 2010-2013, the birth of Fuck Trae Young chants in 2020, missed them in 2021 and a yearly progression from the 2023 season leading up to where we currently are now. I’ve been a Knick fan for 33 years and will die a Knick fan. Here’s to closing out a historic playoff run en route to the Finals for the first time in 27 years in convincing fashion … the path there’s been easy and we don’t deserve to be there? Jokes on you. As somebody who won a ton of Eastern Conference Finals I want to tell Knicks fans not to give up. That looked like a rust game to me.
