Last week we discussed the Assisted Dying Bill - terminally ill patients should be offered specialised palliative care that can so often alleviate suffering. Too many pushing for assisted dying use the argument of intolerable pain to scaremonger. It is also chilling and galling that the NHS-run state assisted dying scheme will cost a fortune while government policies are destroying many hospices.
