Happy Thank a Resident Day @UMMCRads! I have never been more proud to be the PD of such a great group of residents. They never flinched when asked to adopt a paper workflow, cover every scanner, hand deliver reports, and to work odd hours to ensure every patient was taken care of while systems were down. The Southern Radiological Conference in beautiful Point Clear, AL is in full swing! The best kept secret for radiology meetings in the Deep South is out of the bag. I am honored to serve as program chair this year and will share some highlights throughout the weekend.

From the reading room to the classroom! 📚🩺 Our residents recently spent time mentoring the next generation of physicians in the UMMC Radiology Interest Group. From finding hidden objects to mastering probe orientation, the med students were crushing the ultrasound basics! 🌟
