@johnlindy5 I think it's exactly as advertised: weird as hell but fun as hell, untraditional but still a good test of golf. It has all the flaws its detractors point out AND all the attributes its promoters love. It's rated exactly right.

@benbosk As someone who got a letter in their file at my club for having an untucked shirt at 6 pm during a summer round, I dig this debate! I think the Tour could benefit from having certain tournaments with looser dress codes. They should lean into it at WM, t-shirts, shorts, etc.

Making 17 that long would make it quite literally unplayable. Balls landing on the green with the clubs needed to hit 180-200 yard shots wouldn’t hold
