It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our colleague & friend, A/Prof Adam Loch. Adam was an exceptional researcher, lecturer, supervisor & mentor. He will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, humour & dedication to nurturing the next generation of researchers.

The visit is a key step in finalising the project and kickstarting the early stages of the new research project. It lays the foundation for continued collaboration to support agricultural development and enhance food and nutrition security in Timor-Leste.

We also introduce and discuss a new ACIAR-funded research project: Enhancing Food and Nutrition Security through an Improved Understanding of Farming Households and Value Chains in Timor-Leste.

🌱 The visit provided the research team an opportunity to share early results and gather valuable feedback from government representatives, particularly from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF), as well as development partners and other stakeholders.

Jack presented at provincial IndoDairy2 workshops w/ dairy cooperatives, sharing findings from participatory rural appraisal interviews highlighting misalignments in current quality-based incentive structures. Insights promote inclusive & sustainable dairy value chains in Indo.
