Happy Pride Month!🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 @France2023 have taken huge strides this year with their ‘Rugby is my Pride’ programme which aims to highlight the fight against all LGBTQ+ discrimination. This programme is centred towards the values of solidarity and team spirit, and embodied by rugby.

1/2 UoNWRFC condemn @EnglandRugby @EngRugbyUnis voting in favour of banning trans women from rugby. All players are individuals and deserve to be treated as such. This is why we support the case by case system and believe the ban will only do harm.

1/2 UoNWRFC stand with trans rugby players! 🏳️‍⚧️💚💛 This Friday the @RFU @EngRugbyUnis will be voting on the proposal of a blanket ban on trans women playing rugby at any level. UoNWRFC do not support this and believe the case by case basis is the best way forward.
