Motion 8.2 Defending the Future of 2SER: Macquarie Uni is pulling funding from 2SER radio station. 2SER needs to find a new partner by June or face closure. UTSSA stand by 2SER.

Motion 7.2 Approval of 2025 Audited Financial Statements and Representation Letter: The audit for 2025 revealed the largest loss in the last 20 years. The university hadasked the UTSSA to empty out its reserves, threatening to withhold SSAF funding for next year. Motion passed.

Motion 7.1 Meet Your Student Representatives Campaign: Assistant Gen Sec said it aims to raise awareness of what the UTSSA does for students. Education Officer called it an empty bureaucracy. Socialist Alternative abstained from voting.

Environment and Technology Officer is working with sustainability people at UTS about minimising pollution on campus and has had a few meetings with Red Cross about Plant a Tree Day

Women's Officer met with Kylie Readman about free period product campaign and reported that a UTS Alumni is doing a video series on sexual health.

Welfare Officer spoke about donation drive for Bluebird Pantry, reported on concerning findings from UTS Health Services survey and reported on slow progress on clothing bins

Education Officer raised that the staff strike is happening tomorrow. Also reported that Palestine Solidarity Week was successful and emphasised the importance of standing up against the status quo from the government and the university when it comes to the genocide in Palestine

SRC President had biannual meeting with Vice-Chancellor Andrew Parfitt, spoke about protest form, royal commission, closure of 2SER, and UTS childcare closures. Also spoke with Deputy Vice Chancellor Kylie Readman about protest form, NTEU negotiations, and gender based violence.
