It was an honour to attend today’s State Opening of Parliament and witness one of 🇬🇧 great constitutional traditions. A memorable occasion, to be present at His Majesty’s the King’s speech.

It was a great pleasure to host newly appointed Ambassador of Georgia H.E Ilia Darchiashvili. Armenia and Georgia share a long history of friendship and good neighborly relations. Wishing all the best to our Georgian colleague and looking forward to working closely with him.

🇬🇧🇦🇲 This week in Yerevan, 🇬🇧 Prime Minister Keir Starmer and 🇦🇲 Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed on a Declaration on the UK-Armenia Strategic Partnership and agreed to begin its implementation. Ambassador Alexandra Cole explains what this means in practice. #ukarmenia

Our first EU-Armenia summit is a landmark diplomatic moment, and I thank Armenia for hosting us in Yerevan. Armenia is a key pillar in our relationship with the South Caucasus. Today we forged closer ties on trade, energy, and digital. The EU will support the Armenian people in choosing their own destiny, including with a new EU mission to counter foreign interference and strengthen resilience.
