@Vaughters Whilst it never should have gone to court, it seems like SRAM started this process, rather than the governing body. It should have been resolved by negotiations. SRAM looks like they are defending a commercial situation, not a racing regulation issue.

Very sad situation. This is what happens when governance is not elected by the constituency it is supposed to represent and protect.

@Tratnikstan Absolutely. It’s more fun to talk about motor doping, but the bigger - and actually real - problem is races, and the results, totally being changed by motorcycles.

Motorcycles impacting racing is not talked about enough. Apart from being dangerous, they also influence the outcome of races soooo often. Huge problem in cycling

Perhaps things like making sure parked (and still moving) vehicles are not on the race course, blind corners with rock piles in the apex are not on race courses, and motorcycles aren’t part of the peloton take precedence over gear restrictions, sock lengths, and handlebar width?
