@BanCheneProduct Manohar was one of the silent pillars of the BJP. Mr Ananth Kumar Hegde, 6 time MP from Bangalore was also a respectable politician and served the BJP and the nation creditably, until he died of cancer prematurely. Parrikar's surviving colleague Mr Nitin Gadkari, is also B Tech.
English

Late Shri Manohar Parrikar Ji once narrated his ordeal.
"I'm from Parra, a village in Goa, so we're called 'Parrikars.' My village is famous for its watermelons. When I was a child, the farmers there held a 'Watermelon Eating Contest' in May, after the harvest. All the children were invited and asked to eat as many watermelons as they wanted.
Many years later, I went to IIT Mumbai to study engineering. Then I returned to my village after 6.5 years. I went to the market to look for watermelons. But they were gone. The ones I found were very small.
I went to meet the farmer who used to hold the 'Watermelon Eating Contest.' Now his son had taken his place. He still held the contest, but there was a difference. When the old farmer offered us watermelons to eat, he would ask us to spit the seeds into a bowl. We were forbidden to chew the seeds. He was collecting seeds for the next crop.
We were, in effect, unpaid child laborers.
He would keep his best watermelons for the competition, using them as the best. He obtained good seeds, which produced even bigger watermelons the next year. When his son arrived, he thought the larger ones would fetch a higher price in the market, so he started selling the larger ones and keeping the smaller ones for competition. The next year, the watermelons grew smaller, and the next even smaller. A watermelon generation lasts one year.
In seven years, Parra's best watermelons were wiped out. In humans, a generation changes every 25 years. In 200 years, we will realize the mistakes we were making in educating our children.
Selecting good seeds, that is, talent, is a huge task in itself. Due to irrelevant ideas and useless things, our good watermelons will go to market, leaving us with useless, inferior seeds.
We must think about this in today's context.

@deepakchannel_ @thebetterindia The principle is same as earthen pots where water inside remains cool due to moisture evaporation outside the pot.Moot point here is not whether the desi technology existed or not before Gaikwad shared the product on social media. The issue is whether people are using it widely.

@drpktrivedi @san_x_m @Someran46805661 Even Mahatma Gandhi had to battle dishonest Indian leaders besides the harsh Britishers using the plank of Truth and Honesty. Such battles take long to fructify. But one day India's GenZ will roast the corrupt and powerful. That will be India's Golden Age. Nepal is leading the way

Well we hv lot of such ppl Khemka was one of them. The simple reason that they never knew the reality of daily life. All younger days studied hard day and night to top the academic career. If a high way is being sanctioned and constructed it involves crores of rupees distributed by contractors from CM, PWD minister, Collectors, Patwari etc. If money is exchanging for land acquisition etc. one honest collector like him throws a span in system not allowing indirect method halts all the process and high way can’t b built! Here honestly ethics are detrimental to society and ppl for whom u want to work. No high way, no hospital and ppl loose the benefits. I think if some ppl are drawing some extra government money but same time some development is happening let it b like that. That’s why such ppl transfer frequently and their honesty is useless.
While praising such ppl you must understand that they are bunch of idiots who can’t change the system. And if they want to change it they shud fight election and bcome minister or such to at least bring change in their department.
No body can fight system even Narendra Modi or CJI or any high office holder individually!

@hvgoenka AAP assembled a young , educated team with a lot of promise. They did some good. However soon the team disintegrated and got mired in corruption charges.NDA government used CBI and ED to make life difficult for the top brass. AK's public rant against PM Modi led to his downfall.

Her name is Rohini Sindhuri.
She is a 2009 batch IAS officer posted in Karnataka.
In 2018, she was the District Collector of Hassan. She discovered illegal sand mining happening every night from the rivers in her district. She stopped it.
Local politicians were furious. They went to the Chief Minister.
Within days, she was transferred out of Hassan.
She fought it in the Karnataka High Court. The court ruled her transfer was illegal and ordered the government to reinstate her.
The government reinstated her.
Then transferred her again.
She went back to court. She kept going back to court every single time the system tried to silence her.
Between 2018 and 2023, she was transferred seven times. Each transfer came within weeks of her exposing something.
She never stopped working. She never stopped filing cases. She never stopped showing up.
India has a system where honesty is punished with transfers. Rohini Sindhuri refused to accept that as her final answer.
She is still in service today.

IT TAKES A LOT TO BE REVATHI…!!!
While the whole country is celebrating the landmark judgement of death penalty for the NINE policemen in the Santhanakulam custodial torture and murder of Jeyaraj and Bennix, you should know about Revathi.
Revathi was a constable in Santhanakulam police station in 2020 when the gruesome incident took place. She was the key witness and the sole reason for all the arrogant officers getting punished today.
The police men involved in the brutality were all big men, Revathi was a small time constable. But she stood unperturbed.
When Magistrate Bharathidasan, who initially investigated this case, arrived at the Santhanakulam police station he had no clue that constable Revathi will help close the case.
"Sir, I will tell you everything, every detail, the truth that is being hidden. But I am the mother of two young girls... can you guarantee the safety of my children and my job?", she had asked the magistrate.
Revathi was on night duty when the cruel incident took place. She witnessed the brutality being inflicted on Jeyaraj and Bennix and narrated every single detail.
She told how SI Balakrishnan, inspector Sridhar and SI Ragukanes, kept beating the father and son with whatever they found, and how they also stomped on their private parts with their shoes.
She remembered their screams. She saw how the officers took pause only to sip alcohol while the victims withered in pain.
When the father and son were semi-conscious, unable to bear it, Revathi asked Jayaraj if he needed anything. She gave him coffee which the officials spilt it immediately.
Revathi couldn’t stand the brutality but being a woman constable there was only so much she could do. She then offered water to the victims.
The so called policemen then stripped Bennix naked, tied his hands and legs separately, and beat him up. They did the same to Jeyaraj. Revathi couldn’t bear the pain of their screams, she left the place.
According to the postmortem report, their entire back was skinned, iron rods were inserted and they bled from their rectums.
When the case was being discussed by the media, when even the CM of Tamil Nadu tried to brush it away, Revathi knew the truth.
The police officials, cleaned up the station of any DNA evidences, erased the CCTV footage and warned everyone to shut-up and not try to become heroes.
But Revathi didn’t just narrate the entire ordeal in exact detail…she even helped the investigating officials obtain other crucial information.
Despite everything being cleaned, Revathi gathered DNA of the victims in crevices of the walls and floors, on furniture and other objects.
She was questioned, threatened, intimidated, bribed and even abused. She stood by justice. She had to go against her colleagues for justice of comman man.
In the time when police force is often looked upon with reasonable suspicion, there are people in uniform like Revathi.
Today court could pronounce death sentence to nine police officers - only because one woman decided she will stand by truth!
Kudos to Revathi, an amazing woman and an absolutely fabulous police officer.
The world is a better place because of her courage.
Salute ma’am 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
