@Viathanlol This is so so obvious to everyone with any shred of sanity. Feminism already had this same discussion with men and their misogynist dating preferences and it continues to be a conversation. But we direct that same kind of energy at cishet women and suddenly it’s rape culture

Last thing I wanna say on this is that if you think women shouldn’t be ridiculed for sleeping with men while men are praised for the inverse - but you then ridicule & think less of men that have slept with men - you are contributing to the societal problems you claim to hate. Under the patriarchy there is this concept that having a previous male sexual partner “taints” you; it’s part of why bi men are seen as gay men in denial, part of why bi women are seen as straight women in denial, part of why “gold star lesbian” is a term, why society places so much importance on the concept of a woman’s virginity, etc. It’s why having sex with a man is often considered humiliating - and why a man having sex with a woman is considered anything but. So what should be considered is that when you say these things about bisexual men, you are actively empowering the very sentiments within society that you likely vehemently disagree with and hate . You are, of course, allowed to have whatever preferences you wish, but when you state them in this way, and also refuse to look within yourself as to why you have these preferences, you are upholding the system that you will then in your very next breath speak of your disgust for. You maintain this cognitive dissonance either because you are too ignorant to recognise the implications of what you say and do, or because the idea of recognising yourself as imperfect is too scary to you. You label yourself as a feminist and use feminist language to defend your ignorance and bigotry, despite your behaviour not aligning with feminism at all — and you will shame real feminists who defend bisexual men because they know and understand all of this. You should expect better from yourself.

@ryorthios i do remember seeing some subreddits with reasonable people but yeah the vast majority are 100% ragebait, i remember a few years ago when janna mains were upset she was getting nerfed when she had like a 54.5%wr for 6 months 😭
