fuck. an NFT company that can’t even mint NFTs? not ideal. we are not sorry, but we are prideful - and we take our craft and our story seriously. so we’re rugging HARMONY and taking everything down. the set up: - we kicked off the second leg of our journey in the G*BOY universe with an in-world mint for a medication called HARMONY that would result in winners of the HARMIES art collection on [blockchain] - we built something interesting and unique, and in our testing it felt fun and snappy and unlike anything any of us had ever experienced before in the space, and this was just the first part… - our expectation was for this to draw in our main supporters and grow the people that were exposed to our world, we expected thousands of new people to come in the door and we set up our infrastructure to support this - it ends up we needed to account for 10-20x more tx per second than we had anticipated - this resulted in people waiting FOREVER for their NFTs to arrive, referral codes getting double dipped, and the system backing up on itself until all of the fun interactions we had built became frustrating turds clogging the toilet. everything got stuck in a queue and our beloved devs started having to run everyone's interactions through a script to catch us up. it was brutal. we think @greenie_sr @boris0chuck and @demdev007 aged 25 years in a day. the rug: the HARMONY site will be locked by 5pm ET today. no new mints, no looking at the cool art, no trying to rank up and no participating in the ponzi. it’s all fucking over. until Monday. until the drooling hoard can get the experience that we were hoping they could and we can tell the story the way it deserves to be told. until the real game begins. yesterday was the first part of a two act story. the next part will last longer and things are going to get weird - it’s not a thing we’ve ever seen done before - so we want to make sure shit is smooth as butter. we’ll kick off next week with a new thicker, girthier system that should be able to handle the force of a trillion degenerates. — oh, and for everyone who got fucked yesterday and couldn’t get referrals through at the prices they were hoping for: we are going to drop you free MED-BUX to make things more fair. go touch some grass. monday it all pops off. we love you.
