Today, Fri, Oct 25, Trail Ridge Rd/US Hwy 34 in #RMNP officially closed for the season to through travel. Current closures are Rainbow Curve (east) & Colorado River Trailhead (west). Closure points may fluctuate this fall. Weather permitting, reopen planned the last week of May.

FIRE BAN IN EFFECT IN #RMNP. Stage 2 fire restrictions are in effect in all areas of RMNP, meaning the use of all fires, including charcoal briquette fires, is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited inside the park except within an enclosed vehicle or within a developed paved area.

Through Nov 30, Old Fall River Road in #RMNP is open for bicycles, e-bikes, leashed dogs (pick up after them) and hiking except during road maintenance operations and emergency closures as posted. Cyclists, hikers and pet owners may utilize the road at their own risk.

Old Fall River Rd in #RMNP will open to vehicles on Sa, July 1. Currently closed to all uses including bicycles & hikers until Fri 6/30 AM for dust abatement. This scenic 9.4 mi dirt road is winding, narrow, 1-way up only, no guardrails, no shoulders. Remember a reservation 9A-2P
