@MelissaMildew @foundmyfitness Hi! Vitamix containers do not release any plastic particles during the blending process. The material is not carved away, but rather creates minor indentations by design.

@foundmyfitness @Vitamix claim there is no shedding of microplastics with their blenders. Is this true?

Plastic blenders are a source of microplastics that most people overlook. Those with plastic jars or pitchers release microplastics, and even nanoplastics, into blended food or drinks due to friction and mechanical abrasion during blending. A single 30-second blending cycle can release up to 1 billion (yes, with a "b") micro- and nanoplastic particles. BPA-free products are safer but can still release particles due to heavy use, heat, or abrasion. My advice is to switch to a completely stainless-steel blender. @Vitamix For many years, during the peak of the Vitamix TNC 5200 era, the blade assembly was available to consumers. Often marketed as part of an “Agitator Kit” to extend the lifespan of the container. Sometime around 2023, you stopped selling standalone blade assemblies. What changed?

@KaySoyemiEsq Hi! If your Vitamix shut down while you were blending, it is likely it temporarily overheated. . If this occurs, we recommend turning the power switch off for up to 45 minutes, allowing the machine to cool down or reset. If it is still not working send us a DM!
