Don’t remember reading it last time. What if somebody gets elected that does not have these ‘must’ level requirements as described?

It's election time! As some of you may already know, we entered the next election cycle for one of the @WAX_io Office of Inspector General seats. Check wax-oig.notion.site/WAX-Office-of-… to learn more about the Office and the requirements to become an Inspector General.

@NKCSS @anyobservation @WAX_io @BenNFTHive As long as the elected IG fulfills most of the requirements and is willing to improve his skills, while all areas are covered by the majority of the IGs, the OIG will remain functional. Otherwise, an unqualified or unwilling IG would lead to a snap election.

Nominations are open on oig.wax.io until 23:59:59 UTC on the 30th of June 2023 when voting commences. Voting concludes at 23:59:59 UTC on the 14th of July 2023, with the winner being announced shortly after.

@digitalducks @anyobservation We fully agree. Unfortunately, this is a shortcoming of the DAO framework the election was built upon. We do have a patch for that ready, but there is concern about updating the contracts mid-election.
