until they listen to their QA on risks and other issues with timing on testing, staff up their devs a bit more to even address waves of bugs that come in in these shorter sprints, say no to scope more often.. its like nice to address and stuff but ultimately doesn't change much

L'ura is honestly the first fight of Midnight so far where I've said "oh this fight wouldn't work if Weakauras still existed" The most difficult part of this fight is trying to make sure 15 other people understand what "clockwise rotation" means, and what a diamond is lmao

Yo @Warcraft I have a banger idea. Co-Stream the RWF from your channel, put it on the launcher, get the devs from the last few bosses of the raid on to talk about them as the guilds figure them out and progress. I would watch that.

People said WeakAuras made it so you were "playing the UI" instead of playing the game. I'd argue that playing *against* hostile UX is an even worse form of "playing the UI." Healers should've gotten better tools in the base UI well before addon restrictions became a factor.

@kurlancheek What is Blizzard's official stance on people selling import/export strings? Will it be the same grey area as addon strings or is the TOS going to get adjusted?

Some people were asking us to ship the media files that were included in WeakAuras standalone so they can still be used in retail, and so we did, enjoy curseforge.com/wow/addons/wea…

Many addons that popped up over the last few days use exploits and will eventually stop working.

there are still a bunch of exploits in the WoW UI and this will be a cat & mouse game for a while. Some things Blizzard will fix, some they won't because they might provide similar functionality later on. annoying for users, fun for devs, confusing for everyone
