The conversation around AI agents is no longer about how to build them — it’s about how to manage thousands of them. Today we’re introducing Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, a new way to build, scale, govern and optimize agents. It combines the models and services you’re familiar with from Vertex AI with new features, like a new Agent Studio, so agents can more easily handle your complex workflows. #GoogleCloudNext

Introducing ChatGPT for Google Sheets! We’re incredibly excited to ship this — bringing ChatGPT directly into the Sheets workflows people already use every day. You can start with a blank workbook and ask ChatGPT to help build, edit, analyze, and update sheets in natural language — whether you’re planning a wedding, building a cafe business plan, or running financial planning for your online business. Excited to see what people build with it! We'll be continually iterating on the experience, so please do let us know what you think. Link in thread :)

Today, we’re open-sourcing the draft specification for DESIGN.md, so it can be used across any tool or platform. We’re also adding new capabilities. DESIGN.md lets you easily export and import your design rules from project to project. Instead of guessing intent, agents know exactly what a color is for and can even validate their choices against WCAG accessibility rules. Watch David East break down this shared visual language in action👇. New capabilities and links in 🧵

AI affects basically every area of marketing in some way, and lead generation is no exception. As buyer journeys continue to fragment and become more complex, it’s more important than ever for your lead generation process to be fast, precise, and relevant. By automating routine tasks and providing deeper insights, AI helps your business meet that need. If you’re unsure whether AI lead generation is right for your business, ask yourself: 🤔 Is my lead volume high enough for me to need automation? 🤔 Do I have a hard time following up with leads in a timely manner? 🤔 Am I willing to provide human oversight for AI? If you answer “yes” to those questions, you can likely benefit from AI in your lead generation strategy. But how can you actually use it? Some of the top use cases for AI lead generation include: ✅ Scoring and prioritizing leads based on how likely they are to close ✅ Hyper-personalizing lead generation email outreach campaigns ✅ Analyzing user behavior to identify buying intent before competitors ✅ Optimizing paid advertising campaigns in real time ✅ Predicting future pipeline performance and buyer intent Of course, for AI to truly benefit your lead generation strategy, that strategy needs to be well-optimized. You can’t fix bad lead generation just by throwing AI at it. For that reason, be sure to clearly define your goals and audit your existing processes before adding AI into the mix. And even after you do introduce it, be careful not to rely too heavily on it. Letting the AI handle everything without human oversight won’t turn out well for you — it may result in misinterpreted signals and poorly timed messaging. That means you should keep human judgement at the center of your lead generation strategy. When you combine AI automation with human-made decisions, you get a killer lead generation strategy that decreases the length of your sales cycles while boosting your revenue. buff.ly/eJdpU4f

Google has introduced a new development: Google-Agent. This is a user agent built specifically for AI agents that browse the web and perform tasks on behalf of users. This represents a shift toward agent-driven search and introduces a new layer of optimization: Agent Search Optimization. ASO builds on the same foundation SEO has always required but adds legibility for machines evaluating your brand on someone else's behalf. Understanding where the web is heading – including emerging standards like WebMCP – is crucial for staying ahead of that curve. social.semrush.com/4cpTA92.

Claude Opus 4.7 is reportedly dropping this week : here's what's coming - Anthropic is set to release Claude Opus 4.7 as early as this week, according to new reports from The Information and internal codebase leaks. - Alongside the new flagship, they are launching an AI powered design tool that can build entire websites, landing pages, and presentations just by describing what you want. - This new tool is aimed at both developers and non-technical users, posing a direct threat to existing tool like Google's Stitch. - Internal commit messages already leaked codenames like Capybara and Tengu, confirming that the next generation of Opus and Sonnet has been in final prep for a while. - The recent performance dip in Opus 4.6 the so called "67% thinking drop", now looks like a deliberate move to save compute resources ahead of this major flagship jump . - Competition is heating up fast, OpenAI has responded by launching GPT-5.4 Cyber, a specialized model for defensive security that directly challenges the high end Claude Mythos.

The Fan-Out Effect: What Happens Between a Query and a Citation - From a research developed by @Kevin_Indig & @AirOpsHQ analyzing 16,851 queries and +353K pages across ChatGPT's full retrieval pipeline: * Retrieval rank is the #1 signal. A page at position 1 in ChatGPT's retrieval results has a 58% citation rate vs. 14% at position 10 — a 4x gap that no amount of content quality alone won't close. Great SEO is your advantage in AI search. * Your headings are what get you cited. Pages with headings that closely match the user's query are cited 41% of the time vs. 29% for weak matches. Heading structure is the primary on-page lever for AI citation — more impactful than word count, topical breadth, or body copy. * Domain authority doesn't translate. DA and backlinks show no positive correlation with AI citation — and are slightly inversely correlated. ChatGPT evaluates content directly based on relevance and structure, not authority signals. Read more: airops.com/report/the-fan…

Today, we’re introducing Skills in @GoogleChrome, a new way to build one-click workflows for your most frequently used AI prompts — like asking for ingredient substitutions to make a recipe vegan, generating side-by-side shopping comparisons across multiple tabs, or scanning long docs to get the info you need quickly. When you write a prompt that you want to use again, you can save it as a Skill directly from your chat history. The next time you need it, select your saved Skill in Gemini in Chrome by typing forward slash ( / ) or clicking the plus sign ( + ) button, and your Skill will run on the page you’re viewing, along with any other tabs you select.
