The Geog Dept. was delighted to welcome @WeeCrittersNI this week for an engaging and interactive session with our Yr10 pupils🐛🐌 As part of their studies on rainforest ecosystems, pupils had the exciting opportunity to meet & learn about a variety of ranimals up close 🌳

P7 Classes really enjoyed their workshops with the wonderful Alan & his @WeeCrittersNI friends as part of their All Creatures Great & Small topic study! They followed up this workshop by creating their own models in clay! Such a talented bunch! Thank you Team P7 💙🤍💛

𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦! I recently visited this amazing Nursery School to deliver our curriculum-based topics of 'the world around us' & 'Marvellous Minibeasts'!

'Aparrotly' it's World Parrot Day and I couldn't let it pass without celebrating my little parrot pals, Kiki-Dee, Coco and Kiwi the Jenday conures. My little feathered friends play an important role as ambassador animals and help me to deliver a range of curriculum-based topics.

𝗦𝗨𝗡'𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧, 𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧! I hope you are all enjoying the recent good weather and today's amazing blue skies! This is Bluey our blue-tongued skink! This lizard uses its tongue to scare off predators if attacked.

𝗙𝗟𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡! Last week I had the pleasure of attending Eco-School's green flag assessor training. I can’t wait to put the training into practice at schools across our incredible wee country.

This week Prep 4 pupils enjoyed a Marvellous Minibeasts workshop with @WeeCrittersNI. They met Arthur the armadillo, William Snakespeare, along with Cora and her boyfriend Christopher Walkingstick the stick insects. 🕷️🐍 Thanks to @lisburnccc for funding the workshop. ❤️💚💛
