@KateEmersonBri @ChrisEgginton Anthony might want Israel to exist peacefully beside Palestine, but Israel ddoesn't. He must know that. The man is pathetic. An embarrassment to the nation. He shames us every day.

I can't be good anymore about this. Anthony Albanese is a cunt. There is NO other way to put it. He has never stood against Israel. He has never stood up for Gaza. If Goodrem doesn't even need to participate, then why in god's name is Australia even involved? He talks about Israel committing a genocide as if that is some small thing we can disagree about. Albanese-the WORST PM in history.

@PMalinauskasMP @theTiser Peter why are you collaborating with BAE Systems, a corporation that is complicit in the supply chain backing Israel's mass genocide of Palestinians?

Great to be hosting @theTiser Defending Australia here at BAE Systems here at Osborne. Now more than ever, defence is paramount - particularly for naval ship building. The $30 billion investment for the submarine construction yard is so critical here.

@Jansant this is the obvious consequence of decades of liberal sycophantism for the Labor party as the 'better alternative' to the Coalition with no attention paid to their shared support for imperialism and corporate capture

If Trump is calling Xi 'a great leader and a friend' - then who is AUKUS for - and why are we spending billions on it while so many Australians can't afford food or to go to the doctor or to have a roof over their heads? #auspol

If you don’t think the actions of a religious figure can be respectfully challenged you are promoting a theocracy, which is Iran. Iran is a theocracy. Australia is not.

Mass poisoning of tens of thousands of native birds — by a huge British corporation to boost its profits — shows that a mindset of colonialism persists.
Dr Tom Montgomery@DrTOMontgomery

#Birds What do you think about this? British-owned beef giant CPC has been granted a permit to poison and kill 20,000 native galahs and little corellas at one of their vast cattle stations in the NT, Australia. In its permit application, CPC admits its practices created the problem: “grain production, on-site storage, and cattle feeding have provided an artificial food source.” Ornithologist Dr Lilleyman was "shocked" to learn of the NT government's decision to grant the permit. She said that Birdlife Australia is concerned about the potential for secondary poisoning of non-target species occurring close to "an internationally significant wetland". CPC has ten cattle stations on about 9 million acres. They supply cattle and beef to Asian markets, domestic feedlots and processors, and export live cattle. The company is owned by Guy and Julia Hands through the Hands Family Office. They live in Guernsey after leaving England to avoid UK tax. CPC has also applied for massive water licenses for irrigation projects to grow grain sorghum and other crops which will inevitably attract even more birds. So what happens then? Even wider-scale poisoning of native wildlife?

I stand in solidarity with Palestinians who are commemorating the Nakba today. The Israeli Government’s continuing genocide in Gaza is an extension of the Nakba, despite Palestinians having every right to self-determination and to live in peace. #auspol #politas

"I get why people are mad." What is wrong with you? This wasn't merely hearsay or even witnesses. It was fourteen victim testimonies, men and women who personally experienced rape/sexual torture, and had to overcome toxic internal "honor culture" norms to testify. There is not a single case - not one - in the history of the conflict where a Palestinian victim was found to have lied about being raped by an Israeli. And you claim to defend "women's rights." A sick joke.
Jill Filipovic@JillFilipovic

I get why people are mad at the Kristof column, which contained many explosive claims. However, isn't the answer to do a full and impartial investigation of the prisons where so many claims of abuse, torture, and sexual assault have occurred?

@KateEmersonBri it's so ironic that Australian government and media valorises the ANZACs who were attempting a violent imperial invasion of Turkey and then there's absolutely zip or even open mockery of the aid flotilla delegation of Australians attempting actual humanitarian justice

Decency looks like this: 1 Australians set sail from Turkey on a global aid flotilla to Gaza. Eleven Australians have left Turkey on a Global Sumud Flotilla attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The Australians departed Turkey on Thursday evening in the final phase of the mission, as part of a delegation of about 500 people on 57 vessels.
